I'm new to IM distance races - IM CDA was supposed to be my first, but it must have sold out in the last 24 hours because I just tried to register and it said there are no more open slots. For those of you that have gone through this process before, what are my options now? I read that there are a few qualifying slots at 1/2 IM races, or the Community Fund. Anything else I can do? I'm open to doing another IM, but as far as I know all the others are sold out. Thoughts?
I Would Try Again Dude I Just Went Throught The Whole Process,short Of Giving The Cc Number And It Never Told Me It Was Sold Out.
I Just Need To Suck It Up And Hit The Send Button.
Yeah, I just took a look too, and it says it is open. Maybe try again.

I don't get the message until I hit "Pay Now". This is what it says: "Attention! There are no open spots left for 2006 Ford Ironman Coeur d'Alene. Try deleting all registrations for 2006 Ford Ironman Coeur d'Alene from your cart."
Last I heard AZ had some open slots. And perhaps WI?
AZ is open as far as I know, but WI is full now. You could always wait for Florida too, thats in November I think.

Does it have to be an IRONMAN or Iron Distance?
If you want Iron distance search for them.
You can find them with openings until shortly before the event.
