Well my season ended on Saturday. I won my age at the Hyannis Sprint II so I remain undefeated, but my time was pretty slow relative to what I should be doing. I had a really busy August and only got out on my bike once (yes once in the last month). So that slowed down my bike and run times. Unfortunate, but it gave me something to work on for next year.

My legs are ready for some down time before I start up with local 5 and 10k races through the fall and winter. I'm also planning on snowshoeing this winter. I've never done it, but I've heard its a blast. Any thoughts?

Good luck in with the end of the season to all and enjoy the off season.

Congrats on Hyannis!!! I have a friend that used to do those one's all the time. When I lived in Maine she always tried to talk me into coming down and doing them with her.

Congrats! Snowshoeing and xcountry skiing are great workouts. I prefer to xcountry ski...it is a harder workout and more total body...good luck w/your training over winter
