Thanks for all the good luck wishes. I hope I don't suck it up too bad while wearing my new TriFuel jersey!! It is its first time out, so I don't wanna hex it with a bad race! Too bad more Trifuelers won't be there.

Unfortunately, I HATE the mouse. It just happens they have good races. I actually despise disney and everything (well, everything except Tigger! T-I- double guh-er, that spells Tigger!) about Disney. Oh, well, I'll take whatever prize they send my way!

I dont even have kids and love it. Although I did go in July once and though I would kill myself. Its not the happiest place on earth when kids are screaming and parents are yelling back at them (you get the idea). January is great , no lines less trauma.

Disney can be great. You have to go at the right time.
I took my kids last year in early May.
Lines were not too bad, and the weather was reasonable.
It did get hot but not as bad as the summer.
We had some rough spots but we had a great time.
You just can't go at an adults pace. and by just an adult plan.
If you follow the kids lead you have less conflict.
Make sure they have enough to eat and drink and rest when they get cranky.
Good parenting can make a world of difference.

Well in all honesty, we stay away from the Magic Kingdom and do more of the adult stuff....you can eat and drink your way around Epcot and have a blast!

I will likely race the marathon, too. I say likely cause if my marathon trianing goes the way my early season tri prep did, I wont even be racing 10Ks!!
I don't have kids. When I do I will take them, as my parents did me and my sisters, and enjoy them enjoying it. But me, I find Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom dull, boring, and with poor customer relations. Busch Gardens, Sea World, and Islands of Adventure are better all around, IMHO.

Who all is goin? I just got and printed out my pre race email yesterday. The whole thing sounds like a PITA with all the shuttles here and there, pre race meetings, etc. But a free screening of Four Minutes! Wooo!
Just thought it would be cool aif a bunch of us trifuelers could hook up for the weekend!
