I recently purchased a Cervelo Solist and simply love the bike, riding it now for about two weeks I have noticed it has some serious creaking going on, I seemed to have isolated this to both the front fork and seat post. both are carbon so I suspected the resin on the carbon is rubbing against the aluminum and tus the creak. I put some light oil on the seat post this seemed to help quite a bit so now I believe my fianl issue is with the fork. Any ideas on how to resolve, anyone else have a similar problem.

Take it back to the shop. They should fix the problem for free, even if its outside of the 90 days.

If you spend some big buck on a bike the bike shop should not have a problem doing some service for you. I would bring it back and have them check it.

Nothing to it, but to do it

Just thought I would update you guys on what I found, turns out the bottom bracket had been installed incorrectly and was completely re-installed the right way with a new bottom bracket with all cost covered by the shop where I orginally purchased it. In addition, I put some light oil on the carbon seat post and the stem. ALll seems much better now.

There's customer service for ya! I wouldve been PISSED if they hadnt fixed it. The thing about bikes is the creak almost enver comes from where you think it is. Most creaks are the bottom bracket, than maybe the stem.
