Has anyone experimented with using petroleum jelly or something else around the rim of the goggles to stop leaking? I always get a little annoying puddle in each eye no matter how tight the goggles are.

I had the same problem.. Was I pissed!! Here's what you do.

Boil (almost boil) a pot of water on the stove and drop the goggles into it. Let them reform and when cool enough put them on. They should spring back to life ok. It worked for me. Store tham OPEN not folded. I have mine in a little cloth baggy turned nside out so the rubber doesn't get mushed. That seems to be the prob of why they leak along the sides.

Good luck

After trying every goggle on the planet w/ no luck I discovered the Aqua Sphere mask. I've used it for five years now and it never leaks, ever. I've even been kicked in the face and it stayed on and stayed sealed. I swear by it. I've got several w/ different lens colors for different water conditions. Hope it helps!

I always used to just buy a new pair...BUT now that I found some good ones the Speedo Vanquisher goggles do not leak AT ALL (they also make a men's version too)

Kind of bummed I wore a brand new pair in IMC and lost them at the wetsuit "strip" :(
they are anti fog and work great.

You can try the petroleum jelly - but I think that would just make it easier for the goggles to slip off your face :)

I've had trouble with the Aqua Sphere Mask leaking if put on after a warm up swim. I don't know if it's an issue with the goggle being wet or my face being wet or both. I really liked the Kaimen goggle by Aqua Sphere so I may go back to that one.
