Calve cramps...

i always stand up and strech my calves everyonce in a while.
One thing to look at is, what all did you change recently? That will help you eliminate cetain things.

Also look at cleat position. Placing the cleats too far forward puts excessive stress on the calves. These mucscles are critical for the run, so we don't want to use them any more than necessary on the bike. The pedal spindle should run directly beneath the ball of the foot, the metatarsal heads, or slightly toward the heel. Ken

I was out on a ride yesterday (and the other day) and I noticed that I'm getting these muscle cramps in my calves. Is this something to do with my seat adjustment or just my conditioning and nutrition? Or is it all of the hills (read my blog)?
