I wear a Oakley Unknown but I want to buy a new pair of sunglasses, since the Unknown doesn't fit so well with a helmet.
What are suggestions of great sunglasses for triathlon?
Thank you

I like Oakley M-Frames, they are great for biking with the wrap around. Plus they have the interchangeable lenses so you can have a bunch of different ones for different lighting conditions. Picked mine up new off ebay for $90 Canadian. I'd recommend buying off there if you aren't in any rush.

I've been riding with M-Frames for years. I'll probably always stay with Oakley because of fit, clarity and weight. Though the new half-jackets are very nice and much more reasonable than the M-frames. One of my riding buddies just picked up a new pair for about $100.

I've been using Native sunglasses for the past year and loving them. Polarized, interchangable lenses, lightweight and they don't move a mm when I'm running or biking, and I've never found a nosepiece that was as comfortable as they have.

My glasses are Zeal - Rush. They are relatively new in the industry but the glasses are great. The lenses are switchable, though they don't look it, and they have a huge range of lens colors including personal prescription.

I love my Rudy Project sunglasses! I have the Rydon SX.

They stay in place well, are lightweight, have changeable lenses, many colors and styles, and can be prescription. rudyprojectusa.com

Having a limited budget I picked up a pair of Optic Nerve Membrane's for about $30 on ebay. I got my wife's for $9.95 same ones just smaller for ladies. Light, interchangeable and don't move onteh bike or run. I wish they were polorized but I still would buy another pair.

For a great deal-go with Optic Nerve. I have the Optic Nerve Banshee, great glasses for about $50. They come with three sets of colored lenses. Great coverage, and the never fogg due to the vented lenses and frame. I love em

i like my rudyproject ekynox - they're a bit larger on the face than i first expected, but great coverage for those fast mountain descents.

I have a new pair of the specialized optics (ithink they are called San Remo). Very lightweight and comfortable with the added bonus that the lenses automatically tint to adjust to lighting conditions (no need to change out lenses for overcast versus bright days, or if conditions change during a ride.) They were $120. I would definitely recommend them.

Thanks a lot for all the infos!
The only problem I got, is that most of the sunglasses don't fit me well. I have a small face.
The Oakley M-Frame, for example, would be too big for me I think.
What would work great for smaller faces? I thought about the old Oakley Zero 0.7 model, which i find pretty cool.

I TOTALLY agree with this recommendation! I got the same ones (Optic Nerve Banshee) back in May and I love them! Along with the praise listed above, they are a great price, interchangeable, and great style! Unfortunately, they broke at the hinge a couple of weeks ago and I have been putting off calling them. I was afraid that since I didn't return the little waranty card, that they wouldn't be able to do anything. Nope! I called them this morning and they are sending me out another pair! Just another reason I'm an Optic Nerve fan, now:)

I know this thread started a few months back and you probably already have a pair...but Nashbar is having a nice sell on Zeal Optics Slip Stream and Zeal Optic Jet Stream sunglasses. Both sets are $120 originally but are on sale for $40.00 (plus an extra 10% off for the TKA6 code). The jetstreams are for smaller faces and the slipstream for larger. I ordered my slipstream last week and they should be here any day. I'll leave a post about them when I get em! Looking forward to getting em!

So....what you're saying is....benching 1.5 times your body weight 10+ times is NOT good for triathletes?! OOOOOH! :D

Brazilian, if you have a smaller face and want Oakley M frames, you should try on the M-Frame Hybrid S. Its the same frame that Lance wears, and its made for faces smaller/narrower than the other frames. Another great option is the Oakley Half Jacket...it also has interchangable lenses.

Bottom line, they may be pricey....but Oakley makes the more of the best sports sunglasses than anyone else.

...and they paid Lance's cancer bill when no one else would give him health insurance.

If you wish to be out front, then act as if you were behind.
