Having moved sometime ago from tris to AR and MS I am convinced that the usual range of Orca-style stuff is nowhere near good enough or tough enough for AR. The gear falls to bits at the sight of dirt and gravel.
I have 0 to do with these guys I'm just a freakin' customer - some of their stuff is in a league above anything else other stuff is just OK (not big on the short sleeved shirt). Being sports scientists (and designers) the actual content side of their site iRULE is full to the brim of pragmatic and readable training, nutrition and technique stuff (paddling, snowshoe etc).
As to gear; these are worth checking out:
