Thinking like a cyclist!

I would have called you hardcore triathlete with so much spendings on your bike, but you are a hardcore cyclist willing to become a better triathlete.
I do not ride all the time on my tri-bike, because sometimes I need this roadie feeling having the head up.
Have fun riding!

Well I sold my road bike a couple of months ago and I got a full time trial bike as some of you know. I thought train on what you race on. Since I started triathlons I started to only cycle 2-3 days a week. I am still improving but I think it is time to just get crazy fast on the bike. But my knee has been bothering me for about a week and a half. So when I get that situated I am going to become a cyclist first and then a triathlete. I am going to buy another road bike and I am going to start riding 4-5 days a week, with group rides with a couple of guys I know who are way faster than I, and I am going to start doing road races as often as I can. I figure ill never run a 3 hr marathon but I know if I put the time and effort I can get really good bike times and that will be the majority of the races. I wish I would have thought of this before I sold my road bike after this I will have spent close to $10,000 on bikes in the past 4 months.....
PAIN IS TEMPORARY, PRIDE IS FOREVER!
Whether you think you can, or you think you can't you are right!
