Wetsuit rentals?

Hi Jason,
I rented my wetsuit from my local bike shop - Foothill Cyclery. They have a store in La Verne off the 210, which is not really that close to you but I think they have another store somewhere closer to you. You can check with some of your local bike shops to see if they know where you can rent one.

I've e-mailed a couple of rental places, asking if they're willing to ship up to Canada if I'll pay additional shipping (since our local tri shop is booked up for the weekend I need it). Let me know if you spot a place that'll ship rentals up here!

I went into Foothill Cyclery in La Verne yesterday and rented a wetsuit from a really helpful and encouraging guy. Unfortunately they didn't have one closer to my house, but it wasn't all that far anyways...so thanks for the tip, Lisa.

That's great. :) Yeah, I found them helpful and encouraging too. Probably because they support the local tri series and many of them tri themselves. Kindred spirits.

Yeah, when I was in there, the guy at the counter, myself, and 2 other guys shopping were all triathletes, so it was a great environment. And yes, I did race this weekend-I'll be posting a race report shortly. It went really, really well.

I'm wondering if anyone has any info on how easy or difficult it is to rent a wetsuit-I'm doing my first 3 sprint races this summer, and I won't need a wetsuit for all of them, so I'd like to rent one when I need it rather than buy one...especially if I don't end up doing lots of tris after this summer/fall. I've heard people mention it, but I've looked around online and can't seem to find much info. Oh, and I'm in the Los Angeles(California) area, if that helps.
