nope you can use any aerobars in most triathlons, in draft legal tri's you can use clip on aerobars that don't extend beyond the end of your brake levers, and no aero bars for mass start races...

Thanks. I must have been misunderstanding their website(go figure its mostly in italian).
How do you find out if a set of aero bars are legal?
I was about to get a set of Cinelli until I found out they were illegal and now I'm looking at a set of used Scott aero bars, but I'd prefer not to make the same mistake.
Is there a list somewhere or something that can help me distinguish between legal and illegal?
