Hey I just found yall' here and am so glad. So now for the intro. My name is Chris and I am a 44 year old Wife, Mom and Grandmom. I, with my husband run a home improvment business.
I started doing tri just last Summer. I have done a few Sprints and one Olympic Distance. I DNF'd on my first 1/2 Iron yesterday.......had a asthma attack. But I'll be back at it tomorrow. I have also run Marathons, before doing Tri. I am looking forward to all your wisdom and experiences. ;)

Welcome Chris!

There are a few of us from Ohio on the group. I'm coming up from Cincinnati to your neck of the woods this weekend to run the Deer Creek International Duo.

Again welcome, and enjoy the group.

BTW: Have you ran the Columbus Marathon, and if so, how were the water stops situated? With 18 on the course was there any problems with keeping hydrated?

Hey Darrell "Leg n Lungs" ,
yes I have done Columbus,,,it was my first, third and 5th marathon. The water situation is pretty good and I didn't have any prob. keep hydrated and I'm kindof back of the pack. And it is a good race the Volunteers are great. Good luck at Deer Creek. My next race is a Sprint ,,,Wendys International At Alum Creek and another few with HFP including my next 1/2 Iron...which I WILL finish.
Good luck and I'll prob see you at a few races.

Hey Chris -

Welcome to the sight! What a pleasure it is to add to our ranks (women over 40) even if it is one at a time!!!

Happy training - Ant
