The worst feeling is when...

Ok ill start this off since i had an experience today I hope never happens again

the worst feeling is when you are 45 min into your long run(2.5hrs) and you start to feel gurgling in your "stomach" region....you are in the middle of a neighborhood and you are NOWHERE NEAR a bathroom, and wont be in time to alleviate the problem!

needless to say I had to make a rather rash decision in some bushes

Is when you're watching Dr. Phil in the middle of the afternnon, you look out your window and you notice some guy wearing a tri suit squatting in your bushes!

How 'bout when you've got that feeling at about 5:30 AM, but you tough it out to the gas station over the hill and you ask the attendant for the key and..."no, we don't have a key until 7 AM" comes out of her mouth. The 1.5 mile shuffle to the Port-O-John that was at least 120 degrees was bad, but when she said, nnnoooo, wweee ddooonnn'ttt....

you are 5 days out from your "A" race and you are running 101 degree fever and feel like you know what! Glad it was only a 24 hour stomach bug! Which means I may be the one in the bushes during the race! :o

Come on man, Lessing was the first guy to win a major race at all distances last season. Take a look at that dudes times in Placid last year! He did more races than any of the top IM guys during the race season.

Ya I know that is why it is so funny you can't even imagine what went through his mind when he got passed by Nina. He was probably so shocked!

you are waiting amongst thousands of people in the middle of the pack before the start of a race. all of a sudden you hear liquid hitting the surface of the pavement and you see it welling up underneath your running shoes. you turn around to see who is dumping out their water bottle, only to find a girl squatting down with her tights wrapped around her ankles exposing EVERY ANATOMICAL FEATURE possible! everyone around you pretends like they hear and see nothing. oh yeah, this happens everyday!

You have a 15 mile run this afternoon and you didn't sleep all night because dinner or something isn't making nice with your stomach.

He probably said "this really sucks" and threw in the towel. I don't think it's the worst thing that could have happened.

It is 3:45pm. You are still two kilometres from the top of the last climb at about 160 KM with a marathon waiting for you. You have already been forced to stop 4 times on this hill because both thighs cramped.
You realize you need to change down a gear or you will cramp again, you look down and..

you have no lower gear.
