Nothing yet, went to the pool and forgot my suit! But it's a nice day, so I ended up taking a detour and riding some trails for over an hour on my way home. I'm going to hit the train now and then a short run, got a new pair of trainers coming UPS today. I hope to break them in.

"Fatigue will make cowards of us all!"
I HATE being sick! This week is all about getting over a cold and next is getting ready to race. Ugh. My "long run" Tuesday got cut in half due to an X-treme phlegm flinging competition between myself and me. Yesterday was a fast recovery run (my training partner did the whole long run Tuesday) Today is an easy mtb with a friend followed by a 1600m swim.
Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.
Ran for an hour in the morning-mug of the southeast. Did "suprise" intervals by the places with scary dogs!
Biked an hour at 5 AM (why do I usually wait until lunch and fight traffic?);
Lifted legs/low back;
Swam 45 min. (1000 meter "time trial" in 23 min??--man I'm slow!);
Duke Blue Devil here I come!
19 mile ride through Ahwatukee foothills - good climbs =)
Finished with a 2 mile brick run.
Sprint Tri next Sunday.

1500 yard swim in the morning. 40 minute run at lunch at an easy pace. I'm in taper mode as well for the FL 1/2 IM. It's hard to come home after work and have nothing to do! It get me anxious, so I sit around and read trifuel!
7 mile tempo run on rocky trails. felt awesome. really appreciating the ability to move and be outside. what a great life we have.
1/3 mile open water swim with a T1 practice into a 15 mile bike with 3 really good climbs. Bike was race pace on the new ride. Man its awsome!

Rode to Bandelier and back...25ish mile ride. Felt good.
Yes, yesterday was great. Like the discussion on the thread about training with kids when we have busy schedules. I got home after the ride from work and got my daughter to accompany me on her bike for a run on the dyke here in Richmond. It was so nice to have a long slow run. Her and I chatted up a storm. At first she was hesitant on coming but she loved the ride and she said had fun doing it, especially the races (intervals/races). Now she is all happy and going to brag to her friends at school that she did a 16km run yesterday.
At the end of the day May 12 resulted for me as 1.5 hr bike and a brick to a 16 km light speed run.

60 minutes on the trainer this morning. 30 minute run yesterday. A little tight from Sunday's long run. Today's spin was good to stretch things out.
