Maintaining Tire Pressure
I live in Tucson, almost as hot as Phoenix, I pretty much check them before every ride.
i empty the air out after every ride and refill ... if you really pump them up watch out becuase if you pump your wheels in the morning , close to max pressure think about when its 90 and the air expands. its cause for blow outs just like on your car.

I check tire pressure before every ride.
What should be the proper tire pressure for a tire thats limit is 120max PSI? I weigh 210

I check and refill my tires before EVERY ride. Some air always leaks out and you want to maintain optimal pressure each ride.

Yeah i usually check my tires every ride...unless its on consecutive days. After a couple days my tires usually lose 5-10lbs.
As far as Max pressure. I was told by a bike mech that it depends on how good/tight your tire fits on the rim. If you have to struggle like a SOB to get you tire on the rim then you can go over what the recommended max pressure(but still not much) and vice-versa....but i would assume that at 210lbs there might be some other issues involved like inertia???
Same, I loose a little over a day or two. I check and fill as necessary before each ride. In all honesty, I really only gauge the PSI carefully for long rides (once a week). I know, bad practice, but I've been OK so far! Fingers crossed!

Stupid question, I know, but I live in Phoenix and it's a little hotter here than most places.
Question is, how often do you all check and refill your tires to maintin optimum pressure? I don't have any leaks, but it seems that after about two or three rides, that my tires seem a little light on air.
Is this something that I should be doing on a daily basis? Is this normal?
