I will be doing IM wisconsin this year..my first IM! Im just curious what everyone else that is doing this event has been doing thus far for distances. Myself = really need to work on my swimming distance....longest ride has been 4 hours and only 60 miles (wind and good hills) and I just finished my longest run of 2:15...and it was slow AND brutal for some reason.

Here in the Nort Woods the temps are finally getting to where they should be....just waiting for the wind to get a check.

I'm planning on IM MOO in 2006 - Doing 3 1/2IM and bunch of others this year ... to prep for it.

I have talked with several guys that have done this race and they all say how difficult the bike leg is. One guy has done 9 IM and has done Kona - he too said that this is the toughest bike course.
So I'm told that you really need to respect the bike... I'm following an IM training plan this year and doing 5 - 6 hour, 100 - 120 mile rides. They recommended riding the course ahead of time if at all possible.
Good luck with your race and training!
