I am by no means a doctor, but it sounds like miniscus (sp) trouble. I injured mine last year, and it sounds like exactly what you've got. I switched running shoes and it got better almost instantly

After i run hard, i have a sharp pain in the inside of my knee just below my knee cap. the pain is tender to the touch. ihave a neutral stance. when i don't run for a couple days after running hard, the pain goes away. i am wearing nike air zoom elite (3 months old). any help or suggestions? I also ride alot-can this affect my knee while running?
