ironman nutrition

There are lots of great articles for you about IM nutrition. The main theme throughout all of these sites is to practice, practice, practice your race-day strategy. So figure out what works for you during training and stick with it. That means you might have to try lots of different combinations of solid food/fluid but as I've learned from experience, it's worth the time/effort.
Since you will be indoors, you will have an advantage in that the conditions will be stable. Heat and humidity really take it out of me so I have to adjust my intake accordingly.

hey guys, im doing an ironman at the end of june (well its not really an ironman, but im doing ironman distances in the gym for charity and rowing instead of swimming as we have no pool) anyways im gonna be starting this at 7 in the morning so i wont be able to eat much before hand, what do you guys recomend nutrition wise i was thinking about gels, caffeine and getting lucozade powder and makign it strong so i get more calories without having to go to the loo that often, any advice would be appreciated
