Any suggstions/reviews of the various triathlon mags out there -- Triathlete, Transition Times, Inside Triathlons? I'm definitely big into reading as a means of learning, getting new workouts/training programs, etc... (current subscriptions to everything from Tennis to Runners World to Women's Health), and am not sure how to choose between the various magazines in the genre. Thanks!

I have a subscription to Triathlete, I think you'll find what your looking for there. They do comprehensive training propgrams for beginers to advanced athletes, which include specific workouts for each discipline. The mag also includes all the standard stuff, i.e. gear reviews, race updates, diet and health info., interviews, ect. Very similar to Runner's World just focused on Multi-sports. Check out their website @ Triathlonmag.com

Good question Tamara! I am trying to decide myself which one to go with. I have several issues of Triathelete great mag, but picked up an Inside Triathalon and enjoyed it pretty well. Hmmm maybe both.

Never heard of Transitions Times may have to search for that one.

I subscribe to and personally like Triathlete. In comparing them all - that's the one I like best - especially the training programs and they also gear the mag towards all distance triathlons - i.e. not just IM, etc. There's tons of info in each month's magazine - it takes me awhile just to get through all the articles. Lots of good info I haven't looked at Transition Times either.
