Went swimming after my morning class today. Swam for 30 mins. Guesstimate that I swam 25 laps. Going to get a nap in as part of my taper for this weekend. :D Zzzzzzz . . . . . .

40 minute run at lunch. ccolilins, shrug it off and keep the spirits up, I'm sure you'll do well at Gulf Coast.

yep, it's probably just one of "those" days. Flick it off your shoulder and move on. You do this cuz you love it right? Just think of that when you get out for your run tomorrow. :) Good luck CCollins.

biked to work - day 4 :D !

Today hit the pool, kept the heart in zone 2/3, and cranked out 3000yd in an hour. 6x500's Very relaxing and meditative. Head was totally clear after that. Now back to my regularly scheduled programming job.

Feels so good to be able workout again!!

that 3000 mark is a serious milestone for me. it took me a long time to get there. most will get to that distance faster than I did, i just dragged my feet getting there. and it was only two years ago that I was saying the same thing you are, but about a co-worker's wife who regularly swam 3k in an hour, 4 days a week. she was saying to me: "aww that's nothing, ya just swim!"

Lazy day for me: 30 minutes on rollers and 15 minutes working on transitions. I guess I'm tapering for my race this weekend (unintentionally)

2700 yard swim in the morning - felt great! Ran 60 minutes at lunch (perfect running weather) - old foot injury started to nag a little - need to watch it and ice! Lifted arms at the gym after work.
