Ok, I have a drinking problem (not that kind!), when I am at work I tend to drink to much Pepsi 24 to 48 oz per day.

I am trying to find something else to drink that I like the taste of, aside from water. What do some of you drink while at work, not tea, and not coffee.

I really like the taste of Fresca and I also like Minute maid light lemonaid. You can't taste the difference in the light! Most of all...I love the 1/2 Gatorade,1/2 water mix.
Ween (spelling?) yourself off the soda carefully! Training & caffeine withdraws can be train wreck!

When I'm at work I drink water or carbonated water that's caffeine free and sugar free. The last time I drank Pepsi or coke was during an Ultra. I think that's the only time I drink cola....hum??? I also had pretzels and salt and vinegar chips.

I'm not sure what you're trying to give up, is it caffeine or the sugar?

1. the caffeine.
2. the sugar.
3. I drink way to much of the stuff.
4. It has no healthy value.

So try the carbonated water, you'll think your drinking pop buts it's sugar free, caffeine free and sodium free. Good luck with giving up pop. But remember you have to do it slowly, you don't want the withdrawal head aches.

I used to be a diet coke addict - at least 2 liters a day. I just made the switch, first I replaced the dc I had in the morning with oj and little by little I replaced the rest with ice water with lemon. Now that's all I drink (cold). I keep cut up lemons in the fridge and always have a glass with me - even in the car. Even my kids are hooked on it now......

You might want to try the new flavored water by Dasani or Aquafina. I actually thought the idea of flavored water was stupid, but it's actually reall good! Whodathunkit!?!?! It's still water, so you can't get much better than that. I've found that it's mostly a habit thing with cokes, sodas, etc. We all have our vices, and a Diet Coke now and then isn't bad, but not all the time. For me, I stick to only one cup of coffee on my way to the gym in the mornings, water throughout the day, and maybe a Diet Coke once or twice a week. There are other flavored waters out there, so give that a whirl ;)

I drink bottled water all day long at work, and Brita filtered water at home. Every night I usually have a small glass of soy milk. In a 5k I ran last weekend, I received these Crystal Light On-the-Go packets. It's a little packet (mine was lemonade) measured out for a single serving, that you put into a cold bottle (or glass) of water. I tried it yesterday and it was decent. So if you're looking for something with some taste but no calories, that's another option. Or all the flavored waters out there. I like Propel.

I used to love coke, dr. pepper, sunkist (those were my three favorites) and a little over a year ago decided to stop drinking them. I went cold turkey on it and found out that I lost a couple of pounds (I never drink diet - yuck - if I'm going to drink it, it's going to taste good!). The last time I had a coke was probably one time last summer - and my body had gotten so used to not drinking those sugary drinks - that it turned my stomach and I felt sick - and now i don't really even like the taste anymore. If I drink anything with calories - it's orange juice, soy milk, and the occasional alcoholic drink (wine is my preference)!

Drink water all day long and then treat myself to Crystal Light for dinner. To make the water go down a little more enjoyable I have been adding lemon slices to it at work.

It does the trick for me.

I used to drink the stuff all day at a previous job. Hadn't had it in a few years untill the other night, where I decided I was tired of tea and water. Spit the stuff back out and ordered tea.

Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.

This may be a little high maintenance but...I used to be a diet coke FREAK, now I buy a 12 pack of generic seltzer water leave it at work and drink it over ice with a sqeeze of lemon or lime or both. I usually cut them up Sunday night so I am stocked up for the work week.
