I just recieved a used kuota kalibur that I bought off ebay, everything is fine except that the fork is loose, it moves within (I dont know the word for it) whatever holds the fork to the rest of the bike frame. This is making me nervous what does this mean, can it be fixed and if so how?

take it to a bike shop should be no problem to tighten it.

loosen the bolts on the side of the stem and tighten the stem cap (which is the bolt on top of the fork- not too much or youll compress the bearings in the headset and it will be hard to move.)
Then retighten the stem. If its still moving, take it a biek shop right away. Or if you are nervious about even doing this- for some reason- go to the bike shop. A loose fork can result in an ovalized or cracked headtube, which equals a trashed frame. So get it taken care of.

Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.

I walked it down to the bike shope they had to open up the headtube and adjust a few things then it was all good, they didn't even charge me anything. Thanks for the responses though.
