new bike!
Nice! Someday I'm going to own a bike that I'm excited about. Right now I have a cheap road bike because it's really hard to do triathlons bikeless.
I like the color scheme on that one. Very cool.
new toy!!! :)
Those specialized looks soooo sweet.
That's awesome. I hope you enjoy it.
Looks fast. Hope you have beautiful riding weather on the day you pick it up.

My new bike. The bike rep said it will be here in January.
Sweet bike! I think you'll be waiting until February, though. The S-Works bikes come out at the beginning of January, but the rest come out a month later. Just more time for anticipation to build up, I guess! Don't worry, Specialized tends to be early on their release dates anyway.

Not fast enough.
Speaking of new bikes... get one yet Matt??
OOOOOOOHHH!!! That is sweet! I have actually considerd that bike meself. I am going to stick with the Orbea Ordu though. Mostly cause it will match my Orca It will be parked next to in the garage. :) I still love the new transition though.
Ya know and the funny thing is (and I know this cause I have been shopping for a tri-bike too) Is that after you though a set of Zipp 404's on it, the only difference between the $3000 comp and the $8500 S-works is about 3-4lbs and that is the cold hard truth. So unless you are at the elite who cares. That is a really sweet bike, especially for that dough!
Very nice rocket

Well I decided to get this bike in August and the bike rep had originally told me November, then December, and now February. But like you said, it is worth the wait. It will be a bike for life.

Now I just have to save the money to get the 404's. I have already been looking on ebay, but I will probably just get some brand new ones when I can afford it. But you are right, it is a great bike for the money, that is why I chose the 2008 instead of the 2007.

awesome. congrats!
A bike that nice should have a girls name. (like ships or hurricanes before 1980... or girls)

Actually, they're made out of a different grade of carbon fiber and the S-Works comes with all of the proprietary components (center-pull brakes, recessed BB, uber-stiff crankset). The Comp is definitely a pretty sick deal, though!
