A co-worker asked me if I wanted to do this race about a month ago. Sure, why not!

Advertised Distance:
Swim .5 miles
Bike 12 miles
Run 4 miles

Actual Distance (changed course shortly before)
Swim .5 miles
Bike 15 miles
Run 4.5 miles

The swim wasn't that hard, but the cold water prevented me from holding my form on the swim. I couldn't go more than about 30 strokes at a time w/ out doing half a dozen breast strokes.
Bike was longer and had more hills than I expected. Started feeling sick about half way through the bike.
Run was also more hilly than expected, and sick feeling persisted, so I walked at least half the run portion.

Total Time... approx. 2:12

Great job finishing, that's a bummer that they changed the course and made it considerably longer right before the race.

Congrats! I heard good things about it. We weren't back in town in time to go.

Bonelli is always hillier than expected... even when you expect that! ;)

I'm jealous of those of you that can do a Tri this time of year.
