Off-season plan is from 6 - 10+.

Now, around 8-10, average around 12, max at 17-18ish training to be speedy at the Olympic distance.
Off season all aerobic stuff, 5-6 days per week 8-12 hours, very occaisional big weekend
Spring summer 15-20 hours 6 days a week 2-3 hours (max) weekdays. I rest Mon, do my high intensity stuff on Tue and Thur with a gentle aerobic run ride Wed, gentle swim Fri. Ride 3,4,5 plus hours Sat with short run and swim to recover. Usually do a longer Brick on Sun with some 30km runs around 8 to 6 weeks from a big race.
I never swim for longer than an hour. Increase the speed and intensity instead. I never run longer than 30 km. I never do more than about 90 minutes during weekday training except maybe the odd 2 hour bike. Always build in some recovery.
I do about 7-8 hours, not including stretching and prep work.
