I hear it is very flat. think it is in south jersey but guess mapquest.com would knwo for sure.

"Christianne and I just did the Bassman Half distance race in Tuckerton, NJ. It's about 20 mins north of Atlantic City. Had about 200 competitors and the course is flat. It was hot during the run, but you figure in most years it will be cool in Oct. The lake is very clear (you can see the bottom) and it was an enjoyable swim. With it being Oct, it almost guarantees being wetsuit legal. Bike was two loops of 29 miles each so it was a little longer than the standard 56 miles but again it was flat. I thought it was well run and I would recommend it. This is my first HIM, so I don't have anything to compare. Hope that helps.

I was really concerned with how the bike course was. A hilly bike course would mean a terrible run afterwards! :)

Think I will put this one on my list for october 08.
I was thinking of making this my first HIM. Has anyone ever done this event before? What is the course like? The description on the website is vague....:confused:
This event is in tuckerton, NJ i believe...
