I haven't been in a few years, and when I was there I didn't ride. But yes, it was cold at the top of the volcano -- like long pants, sweatshirt kind of cold for me. But that was in June.

Anyone with experience training in Maui. Looking for good 4 hour rides. Also a question about the volcano. I heard it is freezing up there, and should I take warm clothes with?
Would appreciate any knowledge on this. Can hardly wait to get out of this cold cesspool!
