I have been trying to find something that will allow me to run in the dark more effectively. I have a big headlamp that I use, but I can't stand having it on my head moving around when I run, it is about the size of a mining light. I saw these online and found one review about how someone said they provide alot of light and worked beautifully and then one about how someone said they were a piece of junk, those were the only reviews that I could find. Has anyone used these, they are called nike electolites. Here is the link.

I've never heard of it before but its an awesome name!

I have a blinking red LED light that I wear in the dark, but thats just that other people can see me. It doesn't do anything to let me see whats out there.

I think I am going to get one and see how it works. I will let you guys know how it works. Hopefully I am not just blowing my money.

I got one and tried it out and it is basically a bracket that replaces a red flashing LED light. It works well as a device for other people to see you, but it does not shine even close to enough light to illuminate a path. It is a good product, but does not work as I hoped it would. Looks like I still need to use by gigantic headlamp.

I got a $15 Princeton Tech 3 LED headlamp. Works great.

Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.

This is the one I use--sounds like it may be the same as the one Tryguy98 uses.

I also used to keep it in my bag when commuting to work as a back up and in the event I needed to change a flat in the dark. Works well, although I don't have anything to compare it to.

That Nike light does look pretty cool for wearing at night.

I used to have a headstrap for a 2AA battery Maglite. Don't know how that would work out trying to run with though...

Thanks for the recommendation Triguy. That light looks much better than the headlamp I am currently using. Mine is about the size of a bar of soap strapped to my head. It is very cumbersome to run with. This looks like it will work great.

No problem. It's a great little light. Lasts quite a while. Button is a little small and hard to press with gloves on, but for $15...

Can't beat $15. I was actually at REI looking at headlamps this weekend, but all of the ones they had were fairly large like mine so I passed on it.
