TT Venom

After release of the 650C TT Killer CEEPO received numerous requests for a 700C version of the TT Killer, as many triathletes have a preference for a 700C setup. To answer these requests CEEPO developed the TT Venom. CEEPO's next effort will be to develop and begin production of a large TT Venom.

CEEPO is currently conducting first article testing on the 700C Medium TT Venom. Full production of the medium size is anticipated in February with deliveries in March of 2007.

That is a pretty cool looking bike in my opinion.

It is incredible to me how far the cycling industry has come over the last few years. Just looking at the high-end TT bikes from even 10 years ago, and comparing them to the TT bikes that are currently available it is just incredible. It makes me want to hold off on buy anything new, because there is always something better just around the corner.

For some reason, I am not as big of a fan of the black as I thought I would be, usually I love the look of a black bike.

There is something about the graphics on the bike that look ok on the yellow bike, but on the black bike, it looks like it was designed in the 80's in the USSR to me.

Because of the CPC? That is funny.

Maybe they will make a white and red version, with a bit of yellow.

I definitely like the yellow version better, but I think the graphics on either model are too large and flashy.

I also don't like the taper in the seat post just below the seat- It makes the rear of the bike look a little wonky. The downtube and curved portion of the seattube look great! That's probably the coolest seattube on any aerobike I've seen.

Looks like the newer Orbea Ordus- ugly. Looks slack, too. Me no like.

1350 grams? That's 2.97 pounds! Too heavy for me. @ 3 pounds, I'd rather ride skinny steel tubes. (No, I'm serious)
There is just a flood of New Carbon on the market and I have to say If I were to buy it wouldn't be with a new company that may not be here in a few years when the frame cracks or you've crashed and need to replace.

Wow....I didn't read the whole post....1350g isn't what I'd call "ultra light". You can get a Plasma under 1000g and it only costs $2k.

Aesthetically, there are just too many curves around the seat tube area... it looks like it's been left out in the heat and it melted.

Hahaha, sorry. Wonky could be defined as askew off kilter I suppose. The way the lines of the seatpost taper, it looks as though the seat isn't sitting correctly on the post.

I have a professor who uses the term wonky, and I guess I've picked up on it :p

Merriam-Webster gave it as something pretty much like Sully said, but it was a strictly British term. Bugger.

P.S.--The wonky graphic helps.

Can you imagine if there was a car out there that had its logo covering 80% of the surface area like some of the bikes do? It would look really bad.

I'm new to distinguishing what makes a bike look sexy, vs what makes it look "wonky" so maybe I'll figure it out soon.

For me its all about the lines. I agree that the lines in the seatpost area are wonked.
