Pretty killer....ever find out what happened to the bike?

Not fast enough.
Ok, here is my version of life on the big island last week. I'm sure when Bryan gets back from Maui he will get something up too.
Check it out on the blog ..With pics.:)
Great report. The single most disturbing thing is that you're in my age group :)
You had one killer swim and run - I'd love to be able to 'sprint the first 500' and then just cruise the rest.
Be proud of your effort - there's always next year for 'pie in the sky'
And like UFTriGator, I'm curious about what happened to the bike? Seems suspicious you were getting a clicking and your computer wasn't working - could the sensor have gotten knocked?
//k
Yeah sounds like my bike did a while back when the sensor on my fork got knocked around a bit and was banging on the magnet on the wheel...
Awesome job!
Great job!

I checked the front fork and magnet. It wasn't making contact unloaded. However, I didn't try to ride it loaded. I was just too sore.
It seemed like it was coming from the rear. Maybe the cogset. I haven't unpacked the bike and I suppose it might stay in the box until I go to Clearwater. There, I might opt for a rear disk then I might find the issue.
I am curious though. I might tool around with it if I have time. I am currently in the process of moving and unpacking boxes so it might have to wait.
Thanks for reading

Kakman, I see you are from Australia... There were a bunch of you guys up there. Hill, Mergler, I was looking for Hemy and he wasn't there. I think the guy that won the age group was from NZ.
You have plenty of competition down under. I don't know what you guys do there but there are some fast Aussies that show up for Ironman.
They breed us that way down here!
