Alexander will join more than 2,400 endurance athletes in a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and 13.1 mile run on June 10, 2012 in Cambridge, Md.

Tucson, AZ- January 13, 2012: TriSports.com, Tucson’s very own triathlon, cycling, running and swimming gear shop, is now generating up to 100% of their electricity from solar power. The 128 kW solar electric (photovoltaic) system, designed and installed by Technicians for Sustainability, consists of two solar arrays mounted on custom built steel shade structures and a third array mounted on their roof. The panels will produce over 19,000 kWh per month which has the potential to cover all of the electricity the business uses.

Expedition Man: Ultra Distance Triathlon Hits Northern Nevada

Scheduled for Saturday August 25, 2012, the inaugural Expedition Man is attracting athletes to enjoy all that Northern Nevada scenery has to offer with a beautiful 2.4 or 1.2 mile swim in Lake Tahoe; a challenging 112 or 56 mile bike course throughout Northern Nevada, and a 26.2 or 13.1 mile run in and around Reno and Sparks. The USA Triathlon sanctioned event will traverse the communities of Lake Tahoe, Carson City, Washoe Valley, Reno and Sparks and will highlight breathtaking and iconic Northern Nevada scenery.
