Colorado Springs, CO -- Carmichael Training Systems (CTS), in cooperation with Saul Raisin's family, is proud to announce that over $8,000 has been raised for the Shepherd Center. All of the $8,000 was contributed $3.00 at a time with the sale of the "Raisin Hell" wristband, a limited-edition wristband sporting the colors of Saul Raisin's Credit Agricole cycling team (green and white). Every cent of the proceeds of the $3.00 purchase price goes back to Shepherd Center.

Saul Raisin, a 23-year-old American cyclist who suffered severe head trauma during the Circuit de la Sarthe race in France on April 3rd of this year, has been an inspiration to all of us here at Carmichael Training Systems (CTS). His dedication, determination, and focus are especially inspiring given his young age of 23 years. Saul is coached by CTS Premier Coach, Jim Lehman.

CTS Product Manager Jason Lombard gives credit to the thousands of people around the world for supporting Saul and a great facility. "Ultimately, we have to thank the people that purchased the wristbands," says Lombard. "Our primary goal was to help with their distribution, and we couldn't be happier with the wristband's success."

"Obviously we're quite please with the outcome," says Saul's father, Jim Raisin. "When you have a vision of starting something like this-- to give something back-- you hope that it will be a success."
