Ironman Wetsuits has widened its focus to encompass open water swimming and has undergone a dynamic re-brand with a new company name: blue seventy.

“When designing our new range of products for 2006 we discovered a unique passion for open water swimming”, said Steve Nicholls, Marketing Director. “Through triathlon training and racing we found that we had a number of product ideas that cater to the swimmer who often wanders down to the ocean or lake for a swim. Our goals became enhancing the open water experience, empowering athletes to become more confident, stronger swimmers and blue seventy has come to best represent that.” The name blue seventy comes from 70% of the world being covered in water.
