COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Mason, Ohio will once again be the site for the USA Triathlon Short Course Duathlon Age Group National Championships, USAT officials announced today.
The 2007 event, set for July 29, will mark the third-straight year the race has been held in Warren County, just north of Cincinnati.
The event will feature a 10k run, 40k bike and 5k run.
"We are pleased to be returning to Mason for this national championship," said USAT National Events Director Jeff Dyrek. "It's a great venue, with first-class facilities and a challenging, scenic course. We also get outstanding support from the event organizers, from the mayor's office to the Warren County Convention and Visitors Bureau."
Due to the 2007 World Championships taking place in May, this event will not be a World Qualifier. The event, however, will be a qualifier for the 2008 World Championships. Details will be announced at a later date.
