Company to coordinate five triathlons throughout Nevada, Utah in 2007

LAS VEGAS- BBSC Endurance Sports, owners of the Rage triathlons and the Land Rover PumpkinMan triathlon in Las Vegas, NV are proud to announce that they will take over the event production responsibilities for the 2007 SGTRI, Utah Summer Games Triathlon, and the Kokopelli triathlon all located in St George UT. "Jared, the previous race director built these races into world-class events and we are looking forward to operating them with the same success and efficiency as Jared had done for the past six years," Sterrett said. "We plan to continue to grow what has become an anticipated state- wide event that everyone can enjoy."

BBSC already has five triathlons lined up for 2007. In Nevada, BBSC will coordinate the Land Rover PumpkinMan triathlon — Nevada's largest triathlon at 900-plus athletes — and the Rage in the Sage triathlon, Las Vegas' second largest race, which will attract 600-700 competitors this year. Rage in the Sage has held USAT Special Qualifier designations for age group nationals in 2005, 2006 and will hold it again in 2007. Rage has also served as the NV State Qualifier for the "Best of the U.S. Amateur Triathlete Competition" in 2005, 2006 and will also hold onto this designation in 2007. The Land Rover PumpkinMan triathlon has since held a USA Triathlon National designation — a first in Nevada history. Rage in the Sage will take place April 22, and Land Rover PumpkinMan will take place Oct. 14.

BBSC will also coordinate Utah's largest triathlon, the St. George triathlon (SGTRI), which is expected to cap at 1,500 competitors in 2007, the SGTRI will also serve as the USAT Rocky Mountain Regional Special Qualifier for age group nationals. BBSC has also taken over the production of the Utah Summer Games Triathlon, which will attract 600-700 athletes and also serves as the Utah State Qualifier for the "Best in the U.S. Amateur Triathlete Competition"; and the Kokopelli Triathlons, which will attract 600-700 competitors. The three Utah races comprise the SG Trifecta race series, where athletes can track their progress against themselves and the competition to become the SG Trifecta Champions.

BBSC Endurance Sports is a multi-sport race management team dedicated to organizing, promoting and growing triathlons in Nevada and Utah.
