Going for the Bone at the Maddog Trail Triathlon Nissan Xterra Points Series
Event in Cincinnati Aims to Have Fun!

Cincinnati, OH (July 26, 2006) Go for the Bone! At least that's what race
producers are saying about the Maddog Trail Triathlon, a Nissan Xterra
Points Series race being held in Cincinnati on August 13, 2006 at East Fork
State Park.

"Got to get the bone at the Maddog!" race producer Rich Williams exalted!
"Off road triathlons are a tremendous athletic challenge. Going for the
points in the Nissan Xterra USA Championship Series is a big incentive, but
at our Maddog Trail Triathlon, we wanted to add even greater incentive - the
everworthy Dog Bone!"

Off road racers will come from all over to go for the bone and the points in
this triathlon event.
The Maddog Trail Triathlon offers individuals and teams the beautiful yet
challenging terrain at one of Ohio's largest state parks, along with the
excitement of off-road biking and running, swimming in the Park's lake, and
the prominence of being an official Nissan Xterra Point Series Race. The
mountain bike and running course is 90% single track trails through rugged
hills in heavily wooded sections of the Park.

The Maddog Trail Triathlon will start off with a 1000 yard swim in the East
Fork Lake, then a 12 mile mountain bike through heavily wooded rolling
terrain, and then finish with a 5.5 mile off road run ending on the sandy
beaches of the lake.

Registration for individuals is $60.00 thru August 11 and $70.00 on race
day. Registration for teams of 2 or 3 individuals is $110 thru August 11 or
$120 on race day. Registration is open and available at
www.bigdogeventz.com. Additional details can be obtained from the web site
or by calling 859-426-1952 or emailing Suzanne@bigdogeventz.com.

The Nissan Xterra USA Championship Series consists of more than 50 races in
the United States produced through XTERRA. Amateur competitors compete at up
to three events to earn points toward a Nissan Xterra Regional Championship
title. With this title comes an invitation to compete for a national title
at the Nissan Xterra USA Championship in Lake Tahoe, NV on October 1. Top
finishers in regional and national championships are invited to compete at
the Nissan Xterra World Championship in Maui, Hawaii.
