ZOOT SPORTS TRIATHLON TEAM MEMBERS POST IMPRESSIVE RESULTS

Vista, CA, September 20, 2006 - Zoot Sports, a global leading manufacturer of triathlon performance and endurance sports apparel, is proud to announce the results of the Zoot Sports Triathlon Team in competitions throughout the United States and the world.

"The Zoot Team members are having an incredibly successful inaugural season," said Elisette Carlson, Zoot Sports Director of Marketing. "We worked hard to find athletes who represent the best of our sport and who would be strong ambassadors for the sponsors and our Team. Our athletes are posting some amazing results for a first year Team and we are very proud of all of the Zoot Team athletes."

Zoot Sports Triathlon Team Individual Accomplishments

Kalen Darling was selected to represent Hawaii in the 2006 Oceania Swimming Championships in Cairns, Australia where he recorded top ten finishes in 4 events including the 400 and 1500 meter freestyle, the 200 meter backstroke and the 200 meter individual relay.

Stephen Hackett placed 1st at the 5430 Boulder Peal Sprint Triathlon and 3rd at the LA Triathlon behind top triathletes, Greg Bennett and Craig Alexander. And Stephen finished 4th in pro men at the Nautica New York City Triathlon.

Kristin Hilger placed 1st in her Age Group (25- 29) at the 70.3 Ironman in Cancun, Mexico.

Adam Jensen won the Montana State Time Trial and Criterium Championships and placed 1st overall in the Coeur d'Alene Olympic Triathlon. Adam also received his pro card this month and placed 6th at Elite ITU Pan-American Long Distance World Series Championships/Grand Columbian Triathlon in Grand Coulee, WA.

In her Pro debut, Stephanie Jones placed 8th overall at Ironman Wisconsin in 50-degree weather, with rain and wind. Stephanie also took 8th place over all at the 5430 Long Course Triathlon.

Derek Kite took 2nd place in an extremely competitive race at the ITU Kelowna Pan American World Cup Triathlon.

Christine Mackrides placed first in her Age Group (40 - 44) at the 70.3 Ironman in Cancun, Mexico.

Kim McDonald won a gold medal in the Age Group Aquathlon, and placed 4th in the Triathlon World Championships in Lausanne Switzerland. Kim was the 1st place American in the triathlon.

Claire O'Brien, preparing for her Ironman Florida race, took 3rd place in her very successful FirmMan Half-Ironman Triathlon.

Tracy Robertson had a very strong race at Ironman Arizona and placed first in her age group. She looks to secure a top age group spot for Kona.

Alex Sherwood had a 1st place finish at the West Point Triathlon. And Alex recorded a 12th place finish at the Timberman Triathlon.

Paul Tichelaar is having an amazing year. He won the ITU Kelowna Pan American World Cup Triathlon. He placed 7th in the Edmonton World Cup triathlon and 4th in the Pan American Cup Championships. And he finished 23rd in the ITU World Triathlon Championships, Lausanne, Switzerland, And in one of the most competitive World Cup races of the year, Paul finished in 18th place at the ITU BG Hamburg Triathlon World Cup, Hamburg, Germany.

particular focus on the Ironman 70.3 events throughout North America. The dramatic growth of the Ironman 70.3 events provides an excellent platform to showcase the Team's sponsors and products meanwhile supporting the efforts of the 70.3 event participants.
