Aliso Viejo, Calif. (April 23, 2008) – AVIA, the leader in endurance sports training products, congratulates team athlete Amanda Felder on her recent victory at the USA Triathlon Collegiate National Championship held over the weekend at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

An accomplished triathlete, Felder competed alongside more than 1,000 college students from across the United States in the championship race and completed the Olympic distance course, including a 1.5k swim, 40k bike and 10k run, in 2:07:30. Racking up a full minute lead over her nearest competitor, Felder glided to a first place victory in her Avi-Bolt racing shoes.

“AVIA has been an outstanding partner this season providing me with the tools I need to go out and get the job done,” said USAT Collegiate National Champion, Amanda Felder. “Winning the women’s race on Saturday was truly amazing.”

The championship win also guarantees Felder a qualifying spot in the upcoming World University Games in Turkey this June. Felder, a graduate student at the University of California, San Diego, turned pro in 2005 and began racing on the AVIA team in 2008.
