PowerBar sponsored athlete and 2 time IRONMAN World Champion Normann Stadler was in the UK at the weekend, visiting the TCR show at Sandown Park and answering questions from his British fans about triathlon, cycling and training.

Stadler, the 2004 and 2006 IRONMAN World Champion engaged in a Q&A session, a Nutrition and Energy Q&A, an interview with the BTA children’s Workshop and an autograph session. Combined with various media commitments, including two video interviews a podcast and three magazine interviews, this was a day to rival any IRONMAN.

Stadler, was a frank and honest respondent to the athletes questions and no subject was taboo. The main questions centred on Normann’s training and guests were amazed to discover Normann is currently running over 100miles per week, including two track/speed sessions!

Outlining his plans for 2007 season, Normann highlighted IRONMAN Germany and defending his IRONMAN World Championship in Hawaii as his main focus. However any race he enters, he enters to win, so any athlete who toes’s the line against Normann, knows they are in for a race!

Normann was at the show as a guest of PowerBar, the worlds leading sports Nutrition Company.
