This thing is based on the honor system. Hopefully you make up the few minutes in a warm up or a cool down.

Or take it easy and have a nice, easy 5k

Ya, it's the honor system. Basically you're only cheating yourself. Just write in what you have done for the day. Keep track of points. It's NOT a competition with anyone but YOURSELF. I don't think we should push ourselves or see who is able to do more than anyone else. Go slow (Z1) and have fun. That IS the key to this. It's supposed to be fun, so make it that. The only reason for doing this, is to give yourself a goal and have a reason to get out during the Christmas season and do something so that we don't sit there eating cookies and bon bons then feel guilty for it, especially for not working out.

For those more adventurous we should compliment this with bricks if we can. You know who you are :-) Base building is key and sub AeT work at LSD is the goal. Swims are also an option.

Remember have fun for it. Beads, take it easy for the race. Ya got alot of running after that. Don't pooch yourself out. Anton, good to hear you are feeling better. RICE till we start man.....and no, no extra points for rain, sleet...... I will likely be running in that everyday here in Van. which will mean I cleanup with bonus points LOL Just not fair for you all

Day 1 - 3:07:41 on the trails nice and easy. That's 6 points, but I don't plan to do everyday -- so I'll prob take points off for each day I miss, or just try to have a good average. It was cold for here, so I actually wore tights the whole time. And even in the middle my hands were still cold. Great run with the trail group though

Day 1- :35 minutes. 4 miles. Ankle felt tender but not sore to run on. Range of motion still restricted by some swelling.
Wore an ankle brace for more support. Felt great to run after a two week lay off.

Day1: My Wife 2 B and I met up with Cayman to do a Reindeer Run 5k. I took it easy and was still feeling some soreness in my feet and ankles. 26: something. Saw Cayman and walked back on the course to meet up with Melissa. Found her and ran back about 6 minutes. 32 minutes or so total.

Would have done more but I had to go to the Chiropractor and then off to work for a few hours.

1 point so far.

I'll try and get another 30 in later and then of course there is tomorrow.

God bless ya!!

I don't know how you are running.

I only ran once since the JFK, and that was on Turkey day!!

It does feel good to get out again.

doesn't matter. you ran 2x. Doesn't have to be Z1. I said Z1 so that we would not blow up and would be able to last the month. Your choice.

As BBB wrote earlier, I'm in...just late getting to this thread!

Dock me a point for today. No run. I have the Las Vegas Half Marathon tomorrow so I'm hoping that will make up for missing today! I'm not even considering racing it, just having a long base run with a Z2 cap. Once I hit that, I walk. Once it drops to low-mid Z1, I run again.

Me an 10,000 of my best friends tooling down the Las Vegas Strip at 6:07 tomorrow a.m. What more could a guy ask for?
