OW practice swim in Santa Cruz CA
...is anyone doing BK? Tdb? Iam planning an OW practice swim around the pier in Santa Cruz. It will be on August 11 and/or August 12. We might keep rolling and ride part of bike course and if thiings going well a continue with the run in the beach

Hmmm... I might be up for the race, but I will be coaching on the 11th and racing in Folsom the 12th. So I am out for the training days. Have fun. Have you done the race before?

yea twice before. 1st time was a good experience 2 time i was undertrained and I did not enjoy it. This time and Im comming back from a long break in 2006 and I have good feeling about it. How's the coaching gig?

Coaching is incredible, I can see myself doing this well into my 60's, 70's, 100's... Assuming I still have the capacity to stay current in the field. As for keeping up with the cyclists... have Vespa will travel!
