I wanted to know if I could make extra protein shake and put it in the refridgerator? If so how long can I leave it in there before drinking it?

This is what I'm putting in the shake (I'm not sure if it matters for how long it keeps):
-Milk
-Banana
-Weigh protein powder

Thanks

those items should be good as long as the milk is good. I usually blend mine with frozen berries, so in that case the "frosty"part of it melts and would not be the same.

You can store your shake in the fridge for a day..I would say....the thing is that since it has protein powder and milk....is a good media for bacteria to grow...even in the fridge...but is not that those bacteria are going to make you sick...but the taste, appearance and consistency of your shake will turn funny.....is always better to have a fresh one.

With regards to them being safe in the fridge they can keep for quite a while. The problem comes when you have to consider their potency after the storage time, for example some of the EAS range state that the potency of their shakes will last for up to 8hrs when refridgerated, implying that after that they are not as effective....may be worth checking the companies website on your particular product.

Same thing....the reason the shake looses its power is also a resultand of the bacterial grow...the protein starts to get denaturalized so the nutritional power of it gets lost too...!!!
