Give a holler if you here! RV 06-28-2005, 06:28 AM Hey tri1on, I train in the Waukesha area - doing 3 1/2IM this year and anticipating doing IM WI 2006. Check out the Thread from Kona_Expat under Race Aspirations / IronMan Distance "Training rides in Wisconsin 8/5-8/7" I'm planning on doing the Saturday ride. RV tri1on 06-28-2005, 11:13 AM Hey RV, I saw that training weekend and think Im doing the saturday ride as well. Looks like my normal training bud is going to bail on me though. Hopefully well get some more WI-ites to see this thread though. thehitman 06-28-2005, 11:18 AM Hey, aren't the uRATs going to chime in? http://www.trifuel.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2058&highlight=uRATs Go uRATS! thehitman K2pooh 07-18-2005, 06:42 PM New to WI. I moved out to Oconomowoc from the San Francisco Bay Area in April, strategically missing winter, almost. Still getting use to the area and definitely the weather. This humidity thing can really kick your butt. I'm doing my 1st of 2 Oly. tris next weekend up in Door County. I hear it's beautiful up there. I'm going to be volunteering at IM WI. I'll be retrieving bikes and at finish line. I can't wait. This will be my first IM experience. Tri1On, I hope to be there to cheer you on!!! :D K2pooh tri1on 07-19-2005, 06:55 AM K2pooh- Welcome to WI! Oconomowoc from S.F.....thats quite a change. Yeah the Door county area is nice, pretty touristy though. thought about doing that Tri but opted not to. Ill be down in Racine this weekend doing the 1/2 and then the only thing left is IM. Cant wait. And by the way ill need all the cheering you can muster up. Jason rhendric 07-23-2005, 02:30 PM I am a new Triathlete. I have only competed in 2 Sprints so far, but I want to do a couple of 1/2s next summer. I have 1 more sprint this year, along with a 1/2 marathon, and a dualathalon in Green Bay. The sport is great. You learn a lot about yourself during training and racing. Peace Out. vBulletin v3.6.0, Copyright ©2000-2010, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
