Any one try Trigenix or Biobuilde? Just curious as to what people think. Worth the money?

I'm not familiar with Trigenix. I have been using BioBuilde for about six months and find it very effective, albeit expensive. It's supposed to be more efficiently absorbed than proteins like whey and soy and I have somewhat seen that from my own experiments.

I don't get as much protein in my diet as I would like so I often find myself supplementing with protein shakes, whey protein and or BCAA's (like BioBuilde).

Using whey protein and/or protein shakes, I have a tendency to maintain or gain a few pounds of muscle when I'm really hitting it hard on the bike, run or Iron Temple (da gym).

When I stopped the protein shakes and went strictly with BioBuilde, I kept that same progress and actually noticed that I was no longer experiencing the muscle soreness after heavy duty training sessions. I did still have muscle soreness when using the whey/protein shake supplements.

This spring, I'm working on a new diet (detailed in my blog) to try and lose 18 pounds of lard and gain 7 pounds of muscle by June 30. Part of that will be experimenting with the whey/protein shakes and BioBuilde (or another BCAA perhaps) as a pre-bed snack to prevent catabolism and help my body repair tissues while I'm sleeping.

A study I recently read showed that BCAA's taken before sleeping stimulate the body into repairing muscle cells. Add some whey protein to the mix and you now have some "bricks" that the body can use to actually get some work done.

We'll see what happens between now and June 30. My ideas will work or I'll have some really expensive pee. :o

I'll be giving a couple updates a month.

one thing I've learned about training and recovery is that you want to supplement with PS to keep the cortisol levels down. I've been using a product called Recovox www.recovox.net and found it to be very useful.

Why don't we just change this thread to...Ads?
rtaylo 15...do you have any connection to this product? If you do...say so...it's ok, really. If not, sorry for my presumptions.

I have no connections to any product other than that I've been using BioBuilde for a few months. I may even be switching to another BCAA due to the cost.

Anyway, I was simply responding to the original poster's question about experience with BioBuilde since I was doing a similar search in this forum to see what the collective experience was.
