Can anyone recommend anyone good books for tri training? I have a few from 6 or 7 years ago but figured there must be something a little more ‘modern’ out there now. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

The Triathlete’s Training Bible is always a popular buy. Written by Friel. Been around for a few years but usually updated for new editions. Also Workout for Working People is a good primer for the average athlete. The Bible is just that and can be very technical and needs a thorough read.

I’m a big fan of Friel’s bible. Good sound exercise physiology with practical application to the sport. It’s a bit technical, but the upshot of which is you can start applying bits of it here and there and you can grow into it.
