First tri in 2 weeks.....

my first triathlon is in 2 weeks, its a little over a sprint distance: 1 mile swim, 20 mile bike, 5 mile run, iv been training pretty hard, and my basic plan for the next two weeks is to cut alcohol and unhealthy foods (which i have lots of usually being a teenager) out of my diet and train hard, giving myself 2 days rest before the triathlon. has anyone got any last minute tips or things that i should change about that plan?

So that's the 26th? day after tomorrow?
here's wishing you the best of luck, nobody knocks your goggles off, no flats and no tummy pains.
Tips? Relax, enjoy the moment throughout the event. You'll never do your "first" triathlon again.

well, it all went well today(mostly) came out of the swim in a good position but then the bike was always gonna be my weak point, plus on the way out of transition i knocked my bike, and the back wheel was stiff, when i got home i found that one of my brake pads had been in contact with the wheel for the whole race - nightmare.anyways i finished 75th out of 115 was very happy and had an awesome time, bring on the ironman - lol

CONGRADS mate.... if im not mistaken... i think that is closer to olympic than sprint... but i could be wrong.

Harsh news on the brake pad thing, though bad ass how u did it nevertheless with it.
