Wow! Lets just say i'm hooked! My first tri with only 1.5 weeks of training before. .25mile swim, 9 mile biike, 2mile run. I could have went a little harder on the bike and run but had a friend and we were running our first "together".

Swim: 12:09
I was dead about a quarter of the way into the swim. I have to improve in this area! I swam most of the course on my back so i could breathe. Any suggestions?

T1: 3:40
Pretty good. Used a tip i read here about rolling your socks and putting them in your shoes; worked great.

Bike: 34:05
This was easy. I really enjoyed this! I rode a mountain bike and still had a blast. Next tri i will push harder in this area. I know i could easily shave off 3-5 minutes here.

T2: 2:24
This would have been very quick ( i rode moutain bike so i had my run shoes on at T1) but i waited 2 minutes on my friend to catch up.

Run: 19:57
Very surprised. Running is not one of my strong points. I was amazed at how easy it was after i had swam and biked. Could have finished 4-5 minutes sooner but my friend was having a hard time and i waited on him to catch up. Could have save another 4-5 minutes here.

Overall time was 1:12:12. It was a great feeling just to finish! I couild have made it in about 1:05 had i been pushing myself and not waiting. Any suggestions for how to train on the swimming would be great. If i could shave off 5 minutes there it would put me at the 1:00:00 mark!
