Thank you all! If you read my blog, you can see I did a birthday workout of 50 mile ride (at least), 50 minute run (actually 55) and 50 laps in the pool. Not a crazy workout like I've seen some do on their birthday, but it worked for me.
There are many people who don't believe me when I tell them my age, and I like it very much that way, thanks. Not that I look like I'm twenty either. Do I want to go back? No way. There's this wonderful freedom of thought that comes with age, a sense of serenity (acceptance??), and appreciation for all the small things.
From a triathlon perspective, I am still setting PR's, and that is just a wonderful thing! I don't know how long that will last, but for the time being my plan is to get stronger and faster.
I do plan on toasting at Disney, especially if I manage to nail a BQ, but if not, I plan on having serious fun. Maybe the weather will be a little nicer. I'd take upper 40's or low 50's!
Thank you all again, this is going to be one heckuva year!

Thanks so very much!!! For my birthday I am actually taking the day off and spending time with the hubby, kids and grandkids. It has been wonderful here on Trifuel and I'm sure it will be wonderful for many years. Thanks guys :)

haha thanks. Guess you could say I celebrated in a non-traditional style. All the bars in town were packed last night on account of the basketball game, so I just hung out with some friends and watched us win a horribly played game against USC. Slept in and then hit my 3:30hr ride/20min Run workout. The temperatures are definetely starting to rise in NC. I also made the mistake of taking out my easy run not so easy and averaging like a 6:10-6:15 for the 20minutes... At least I know I could be drinking when I go to bed at 10pm ;)
