i took my bike with me to san diego this past weekend and rode along the shore on a little path at mission beach.... very beautiful. it was nothing too strenuous, i think i went about 7 mi. in 40 min. but when i got off the bike, my arms were stiff (esp. elbows), my neck was stiff, and my upper back was sore. all of this went away in about 15 min. and it's fine now.
so i'm wondering, is my bike the wrong fit (even though i had it fitted a few weeks ago)? or am i tensing up for no reason? or is this just something i need to grow accustomed to (having never ridden a road bike before)?
here's my bike if you're curious... (except mine's an '03, not sure if there's too much of a difference) my bike
