Hi, I am moving to live in New Zealand next week and I was wondering if anyone else from trifuel lives there. Or if anyone has any info on shops, races, clubs, etc. -Todd

If you're moving to Wellington in NZ:

Try Capital Cycles - best service and advice i've ever had from a bike shop (they're honest!), i can't praise them more (and i used to work in a bike shop! - not theres, alas);

http://www.capitalcycles.co.nz/ + they organise weekly rides (lunch time, evening, weekend etc)

The Swim Shop - (located on Oriental Parade opposite Fryberg Pool) for tri-clothes and swim stuff;

and Wellington Triathlon Club

There are a few cycling clubs in Wellington: The Port Nicholson Cycling Club (aka Wellington Cycling Club) and clubs for Vets and Juniors. Just search the Net for their Websites.

Welome and G'day! :)

Ha! Brisbane, Qld!! Almost as far from you as I could be and still be in Australia (Unless you count the Australian territories in Antarctica...) :)

Im in Brisbane. Ive been loving the weather this summer. It makes it so much easier to warm up. Where are you training? Im at UQ.

Hi chavi! Well, I'm basicly a cyclist, so my training is a bit boring for the rest of you triathletes, but I mostly ride out along the cycle way from Toombul to Nudgee Beach and through the Boondall Wetlands out to Sandgate. It varies, but that's the usual circuit.

I graduated long ago from UQ in Physics. Now I drive computers (database administration) for a living. I love Brizzy, too, but I made the mistake of getting aclimatised to London and can't seem to make the transition back! Oh well. What better excuse do I need to get back on the bike and get a bit of wind training, right? :)

Lloyd.

I dont think Ive actually ridden that track. This weekend Im out at a place called Kooralbyn and am riding from here to the NSW border. Its good clean country air - plus my Dad is out here so free accomodation.

Have fun in the sun but dont forget sunscreen.
